five senses friday number 3.

I'm still joining in on five senses friday's hosted by Abby

I feel like each week goes by so quickly. Always full of unexpected twists, good and bad. Full of moments I sometimes am prepared for, and some I just catch myself reacting too. Trying to get out of my comfort zone in issues dealing with "my time", never getting enough piano practice for the kids in, wishing that I would have worked more of this and that into my schedule. As I look over my list, I have to admit that some of my emotions this week weren't always as nice as the photo or list would make it out to be. I really should show you a photo of all the laundry folded on my bed, just waiting to be put away before I took myself in...

taste:
-macaroons, homemade bread

sight:

-from the kitchen windows...(our new basketball goal)

-a flowering shrub next door.

-watching Matheau and the kids help put together the basketball goal.

touch:

-our new table (thanks to Craigs list)

-a new book
-finishing my Moska
-attempting some crochet work
-casting on a new knitting project

smell:

-hyacinths, mocha sheet cake, ginger

hear: extra children's voices, doors closing and opening, piano lessons, the rain drops falling

Great shot of the basketball in the net! :) The new table looks very cool.

Stay warm!
