Lizzie and I found some fresh chai basil (quite yummy in pesto), yellow squash, mixed lettuce and spinach, a dozen sweet potato starts and a couple of homemade peanut butter cookies for the ride.

Hey girl, which farmers market did you go to?? I've heard there is one in Ft. Scott, but I've never been able to figure out when it's there.. that and I'm not sure who to ask! lol Let me know! thanks!
Blair, I went to the Farmers Market it Fort Scott. It is off of 4th street behind (West) of the UMB bank. It is where the old IGA store used to be and now there is a Salvation Army or some type of thrift store. It is open on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. I think 7-11am. I have usually been there around 8. I hope you can make it over, I wish I could go once a week. :)
